Description
The Hacienda Links Golf Resort is a resort made up of two golf courses, Links and
Heathland, with a total of 36 holes each clearly differentiated; a recently redesigned driving
range and short game practice area, as well as an excellent clubhouse that houses the newly
transformed Pro-Shop and our new Sal Verde restaurant, also recently renovated, which is
managed by the famous Azotea Restoration group.
The Hacienda Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort is also one of the gastronomic center of reference in
the Municipality of San Roque. SAL VERDE is the new restoration project of Azotea Grupo that
unites golf and gastronomy with views of Gibraltar. It has two different spaces: Sal Verde
Arena Bar (in the same Alcaidesa beach and with views of the Rock of Gibraltar) and Sal Verde
Casa Club, a restaurant and space for events on the golf course. At the forefront of Sal Verdes
gastronomic proposal is the young chef Manuel Berganza, Executive Chef of Azotea Grupo.
Millenium Hospitality is carrying out a successful transformation of Alcaidesa Golf to turn it
into La Hacienda Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort. The resort is undergoing a comprehensive
refurbishment beginning with the comprehensive renovation of the Links course as well as the
construction of a five-star hotel and, after joining the network of European Tour Destinations,
they are located La Hacienda Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort as one of the complexes with the
greatest future in the entire national panorama and among the elite golf resorts of Europe.
The NEW Links Course, has one of the best views of the entire municipality of San Roque over
the Mediterranean and is the only Links-style course in southern Spain. It has 18 holes par 72,
and it was opened in 1992; nowadays, has been recently redesigned by Kurtis Bowman and is
now a modern golf course sustainable. The renovation of the NEW Links has meant the
reconstruction of all the tees, complex of greens and bunkers, redesign of a series of holes,
housing one of the largest greens in surface in Spain. It is a challenging course, with unique
views, and with a quality in its route at the level of the best courses in Europe. It is made up of
wide fairways, double greens, large bunkers strategically located and gentle slopes that
descend towards the sea, ending in a beautiful beach, creating a front of almost 2 km so that a
large part of its holes border the beach. The new course has opened up even more to the sea
and has one of the best views of the entire Costa del Sol over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and
Africa, which can be appreciated from all its greens.
